Forgive me guys, but I'm a UNIX newbie. :-)

I have the FreeBSD 2.0 RELEASE binary distribution and have successfully
installed it on a 386sx-16 (yeah, yeah, I know...) with two IDE drives
totalling 450-some odd megs. I have an 8 bit WD8013 ethernet card, 1.44M
floppy, two serial and one parallel port. I also have 8 megs o' ram
installed.

When I add a Adaptec AHA1542B SCSI card with a single hard drive (internal
Quantum 170S) set at ID #0 (I have floppy support disabled) the kernel panics.
I even removed the IDE drives. DOS boots just fine from this drive.
I have replaced the SCSI cable. The drive is terminated and so is the card.
I have no external devices or other scsi devices.

The device probe is successful and it finds the card, dma channel (5) and
interrupt setting (11). It then reports:

aha0 waiting for scsi devices to settle and hangs a few seconds.

Finally it crashes and I get is this message:

Fatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mode
fault virtual address = 0xf0b01bc0
fault code = supervisor read, page not present
etc...

Does ANYBODY know what's wrong? Is it something stupid I'm overlooking?
