Left at that, what you had done was knock down a strawman >that Jesus had (presumably unintentionally) set up for you. Aha! CONSPIRACY! I knew it all along! Jesus, come back, things are just starting to turn your way again! :-) Actually, I feel like tossing a bucket of ice water over BOTH of you, as one might over two beer-sodden party guests who have gone one `bud light' too many, had a disagreement over nothing and are now grappling feebly with one another on the front lawn. Just KNOCK IT OFF ALREADY, you two! When I think of the productive work both of you probably just wasted in debate.. Sheesh! You both have JOBS to do and homes to go to right? So stop reading, much less posting, this tripe and go back to doing whatever it is you're SUPPOSED to be doing! :-) I only got involved in this miserable thread for one purpose, and that was to correct a slight inaccuracy of Terrys: >Jordan wasn't selling something, Jordan was simply listed in the >'readme' file. Everyone so listed got a letter. Not true. Only I, as the designated FreeBSD target, and Rod, as the designated Walnut Creek CDROM target, got letters. And I wasn't a legal entity either, but Novell's lawyer and I agreed to simply cough nonchelantly and and pretend to overlook that point. We both knew that it wouldn't stand up in court, but we also both knew that that wasn't the point - the point was to get all parties to agree to move to 4.4 lite and stop shipping 1.x on July 31st, even if it amounted to little more than a gentleman's agreement. This was done at the designated time, the move to 4.4 lite happened, and now we're just hoping that everybody can live happily ever after. Starting with you two. :) Jordan
