Your only problem is that the cpu you are using does not fully support the motherboard green features. I have an old intel dx2 -66 (also some amd's have problems ) and had this problem under linux and os/2 ,but not dos. The fix after I and alot of other people using the same and a one other type board post the problem under comp.os.linux. is to change the jumper settings to not use the green features. On the asus ap4 set jumpers jp19 and jp18 depending on what cpu you are using. good luck Orlando
