I'm able to EXTRACT misc10, etc10, BUT when I try to extract base10, it starts to work but then crashes with a message saying something like "gunzip found invalid header". You don't say what kind of drive you're using. This hasn't happened to me recently. But, I remember in the "olden" days, when I was installing 386BSD-0.0 on an old MFM hard drive, I was getting the same thing. Then I would get a new batch of files, and a different one would be "bad". Turns out I had a bad spot on my hard drive. I left the "bad" file where it was on the drive, just renaming it to a different name (bad01, or something like that) and re-extracted the distribution files. All of a sudden, things worked like a charm. I don't know if this is your problem or not, but you could give it a shot. -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Michael L.
