I ran some bonnie benchmarks back in December on NetBSD 1.0 and FreeBSD 2.0 and saw about 2-3MB/s for NetBSD, 3-4 MB/s for FreeBSD. I don't know why there should even be much difference. Those were P5-90s, ncr sc200, Q1080s. I'm running IBM 0662 drives now that reach over 4.3MB/s on block reads in bonnie, simply outstanding (200MB file, I didn't believe the 100MB numbers, but they were true). > >Any thoughts, anyway? > >I concurr with all the priase for Stefan and Wolf.
