I have recently determined (from postings in this group) that I need to
recompile my kernel. Unfortunately, I simply _do not_ have the
resources to do so (disk space and computer speed)

Could some kind sould with a faster machine and a bigger disk compile me
a new kernel and post it for an ftp? The only options I need that vary
from the GENERIC that is distributed with the original distribution is
GATEWAY to on
and
PPP to on

(I am setting up a slip server, and I want to keep the PPP option open
for the future)

By the way, this is FreeBSD-2.0 (original, not SNAP)

I would be eternally grateful...
