Unfortunately, I simply _do not_ have the resources to do so (disk space and computer speed) Could some kind sould with a faster machine and a bigger disk compile me a new kernel and post it for an ftp? The only options I need that vary from the GENERIC that is distributed with the original distribution is GATEWAY to on and PPP to on (I am setting up a slip server, and I want to keep the PPP option open for the future) By the way, this is FreeBSD-2.0 (original, not SNAP) I would be eternally grateful...
