Hi.

I recently downloaded FreeBSD 2.0 and have almost got it installed fine
except that I can't get my mouse or modem working. I've been reading
FAQs until I nearly know them backwards (doesn't help reading them
backwards though :>), so I think I need to copy and change my kernel
config file then remake (which I've done a couple of times now), but
without success.

The mouse is a generic one which works fine under MS Windows when used
with the Microsoft mouse drive 9.00. It's on COM1, IRQ4 there, which
is of course the same as I've put in the kernel config. I'm sure
this must be something really simple, but after four days I figure
I should try posting and asking.

If someone could give me some pointers on setting up my fax/modem (COM4,
14400bps - not sure of IRQ at the mo), I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Nij
