Unlike all our : GB> other machines, the BSDI box has an idle logout implemented, so my : GB> window keeps going away. This is bloody annoying. : I use bash. A grep for "idle" or "timeout" in the whole manual tree : turns up nothing.... I know tcsh and most versions of csh have a variable called "autologout" that controls idle logouts. I suppose you can unset this to inhibit the behavior, but I usually set it to 0... I am not sure what you do for bash. Have a good one. -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- Matthew N. Dodd Department of Computer Science mdodd@tiger.lsu.edu Louisiana State University
