In between, it was horrendously : expensive. This is a massive contrast to hard disks and processor : performance, which has got very very cheap. Memmory in my part of the world is still outrageously expensive. A 30 pin, 1 Mbyte SIMM is more now than it was two years ago. And 30 pin SIMM's are obsolete technology.
