Hi there,

Could someone answer those questions?

FreeBSD 2.0 is based on 4.4BSD-Lite. Does FreeBSD 2.0 source code
distribution contain ALL the source code?

Is 4.4BSD-Lite a complete unix operating system, or just a part
of 4.4BSD?

I just purchased a copy of 4.4BSD-Lite CD-ROM Companion, with a
CD disk. It says it contains the source code for 4.4BSD-Lite,
but it does not include sources for the complete 4.4BSD system.
I am really confuesed by that statement. It sounds like 4.4BSD
is a complete unix operating system (we know that), but 4.4BSD-Lite
is not a complete unix operating system (I thought it was).

Very appreciated if someone can clearify that.
