I have a 486, Adaptec 1542CF, and 1.06GB Conner drive. The FreeBSD bindist
installed without a hitch. But how can I install additional packages? I
tried /sbin/sysinstall and then "fix it", since the only other possible
option was full install, but fixit mode somehow made me lose my
assignments. I ended up reinstalling FreeBSD from scratch, only this time
with both bindist and manpage. I don't want to have to do that everytime I
want to ad a package. What am I missing

(Also, isn't the DOS partition supposed to be automatically mounted at
start-up?)

TIA,
