If anyone knows : where I can get these binaries, I'd appreciate it if they could help : me. : You might try "Phoenix" from the University of Chicago Biological Sciences department. Not only is is a WWW browser, it is a near-WYSIWYG HTML *editor*. It isn't quite as nice as the Mosaic browser, but it does compile and run on my FreeBSD v1.1.5.1/ XFree86 v2.0 machine (I think you will need several support libs and apps: tcl/tk etc.) : Also, I am wondering which browsers are available in binary form for : FreeBSD 2.0, as I am thinking of making the jump real soon now, and where : I can find these. Thanks for the help! My understanding is that the binary you have for NetScape is for FreeBSD v2.x. I'll be sticking with v1.1.5.1 on this box, but the next one I put together will be v2.1 (whenever). -- | John Lucas jlucas@uvi.edu | | Academic Computing NIC Handle: JL423 | | University of the Virgin Islands (809) 693-1216 | | St. Thomas, VI 00802 http://www.uvi.edu/jlucas.html |
