I just grabed the sources for Joe (the editor) of cc04.ccit.edu.tw I think. And then I compiled as BSD under FreeBSD 2.0. So like everything compiled fine, with no error (or warning) messages, but when I ran it, the screen was all funy. Like I could make out the top, and bottom bar, but everything was a bit outta wack. So, since I'm this UNIX wizard (yes, I am being very very very very sarcastic), I came to the logical conclusion that I have no idea what's going on. So will someody PLEASE tell me what I scrweed up on (I imagine that the source isn't 100% FreeBSD 2.0 compatible, and I don't have the expertise to change them). Also I don't think (actually I know this for a fact) that I'm the only 2.0 user who wants Joe back...I imagine there's the pre-compiled binaries flying around somewhere out there, and I just havn't seen them. So, in conclusion if you (a) know what I'm doing wrong, or (b) know where I could find the precompiled binaries, I would REALLY REALLY appreciate it if you dropped me a line :) (in this newsgroup, email, a little birdy with a note tied to its leg, anything:)....thanx a bunch in advance. Tom schroect@wingham.com BTW: Where's the PINE???????(ported to 2.0 I mean:)
