Hello,

I was wondering whether somebody might be able to tell me whether the
following is possible and how it can be achieved:

1 Machine which runs 4.2/3 BSD
   1 Machine runs Linux

I would like to connect these two machines together so that the Linux
system can finger outside of itself. The BSD machine is connected to the
internet and the linux machine just sits at home doing nothing of interest.

In order to get to this machine I must dial through an ANNEX port and
telnet to the approrpiate machine. This means I get a dynamic IP.

I would like to know whether I can make it so that people can finger my
machine at home as if it was connected to the internet.

I have a hostname established and a IP address for it. This IP address
does belong to another subnet but I can have it changed.

Does anybody know how I can set this up ?

Looking forward to your replies,

Dean Thompson
