Dear all,

I'm planning to buy a PC to run BSD4.4, and
I wish to get such an OS on a CD-ROM support.
So, I would appreciate very much if somebody could
tell me if

1. Does exist a list of "bad working" components for
FreeBSD (i.e. motherboard, videocards, HD controllers,...
that give problems when used under BSD).
This would be useful when I'll go to
set up the list of pieces of my PC...

2. is the walnut creek BSD CD-ROM better (better equipped)
than the Infomagic BSD one (I mean if the former
CD has more software in it than the latter).

3. Moreover, Both the companies do sell the 4.4 FreeBSD Lite
on CD, but their version is "nov 94". Does exist a
   fresher version of this OS?

Thanks in advance,

Salvatore
