I've gotten one step closer to making a dial out PPP connection to my Internet Provider. I did a MAKEDEV cua00 and set my ppp & kermit scripts to use it. That got me connected to my modem and dialed out. I tried the same with tty00, but got stuck. When I escape out (ctrl-C), it went on and dialed out as cua00 does. But now, once I connect to the remote host's modem, I get garbage flashing on the screen instead of the login prompts. My modem init string and settings are identical to those I use from Windows or MacOS to connect.?. What am I doing wrong?
