I've gotten one step closer to making a dial out PPP connection to my Internet 
Provider.  I did a MAKEDEV cua00 and set my ppp & kermit scripts to use it.  That got 
me connected to my modem and dialed out.

I tried the same with tty00, but got stuck.  When I escape out (ctrl-C), it went on 
and dialed out as cua00 does.

But now, once I connect to the remote host's modem, I get garbage flashing on the 
screen instead of the login prompts.  My modem init string and settings are identical 
to those I use from Windows or MacOS to connect.?.  What am I doing wrong?
