You recall right :-)
I have done the initial footwork for running Linux binaries under FreeBSD.
The status is that it's possible to run both static & shared bins, and it
will run a shell (bash), but much work is still needed to get it into
a polished product for general consumption. Meanwhile I'll work on it
when time permits, so it will be available at some point in time, but I
can make no promises on deadlines etc...
