: 386BSD 1.1? It is already released? The last i've heard of was 1.0...
: Ok, assume you're meaning FreeBSD.

I do beg your pardon but with a cd in my one of my sweaty hands
I unfalteringly read "BSD/386 version 1.1" and in the other hand one that
purports to be "BSD/OS version 2.0" (which is currently being installed and
tested on another machine).

: The correct setting is `cons25' for the syscons driver, and `vt220'
: (or `vt100' as you like) for the pcvt driver.

Well if either is the correct setting I'm still not getting the escape
sequences when I press the 'insert', 'home', 'pgup', 'end', 'pgdn' either
from the 'mini' keypad or from the main numeric keypad.

Just to recap, all(?) I want is to perversely use an 'edt' emulator that
will work in some way using the numeric keypad on an ibmpc keyboard.
