[0] -- [0]Greg Hayes FreeBSD 2.0.5 and later will support the Panasonic/Matsushita CR-562 and CR-563 (aka omniCD) CD-ROM drives connected via genuine Sound Blaster cards or identical clones cards. The drive must connect to the "Creative/Panasonic" connector on the sound card. The CR562/563 are not IDE CD-ROM drives. The current version of FreeBSD (2.0.0) on CD-ROM does not include support for this drive. 2.0.5 is in the final stages of release right now and should be available in the next several weeks.
