Message-ID: <sammy.17.0011C19F@ravenet.com> Date: Thu, 11 May 1995 17:45:15 Keywords: GNU make Organization: Ravenet Systems/LpMOO Administration X-Newsreader: Trumpet for Windows [Version 1.0 Rev A] Lines: 15 Greetings! I apologize if this is on the wrong BSDI newsgroup. If it is, then it wasn't meant to be an offensive gesture at the pride of the BSDI writers/users, it was a nice blunder by me. Anyway. The server I'm working with in this case is a 486/50, running BSDI 1.1. I have been trying to compile GNU 'make' for quite a while, but haven't had any luck..this is probably related to the compiler, which is gcc v1.42, quite old. I am in search of somebody using BSDI, or FreeBSD, or NetBSD, or anything remotely compatible or that rhymes with BSDI who has GNU make up and running. If you do, I would GREATLY appreciate hearing from you, and would like a copy of your make :) Thanks, Sam.
