SecrDist killed my logins... Message-ID: <D8Fq0M.BBD@mv.mv.com> Nntp-Posting-Host: mv.mv.com Sender: Coranth Gryphon <gryphon@healer.com> Organization: MV Communications, Inc. Date: Thu, 11 May 1995 22:19:32 GMT Lines: 26 Help. I feel REALLY stupid. I had a perfectly working FreeBSD 2.0 System. I downloaded and extracted "secrdist" from 2.0-Release. Now I cannot log in. I know what I did wrong. The passwords no longer match since the original system did not use des. My question is, how do I reverse the process. How do I "uninstall" the "secrdist"? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please send email as this is a time-critical problem. -coranth --------------------------------------------------------+---------------------- Coranth Gryphon | Reality exists on a | need-to-know basis.
