Under 1.1.5.1 I had a "/usr/libexec/getty std.19200" dialup on in my /etc/ttys and everything worked fine with an internal V.42bis modem. Now under 2.0-current I cannot get getty to do anything. I can well observe that getty changes it pid very rapidly when a connection to the modem is made. I tried with ttyid and crtscts enable, too to no avail. Any modem expert out there who can help me? I also managed to talk via kermit to the remote site while logged in backwards through another link. Only getty doesn't give any sign to open the port. Thank you in advance. -- --Chris Christoph P.
