I have an ISA 80486DX2-66 machine coupled with 16MBs of RAM and two 240MB HDDs. Recently I have downloaded FreeBSD 2.0-950412-SNAP from wcarchive, rawrite'd boot.flp onto a 5.25" 1.2MB floppy disk, and tried to boot through that floppy. The problem is that my machine doesn't complete boot procedure. It displays usual "changing root device to fd0c" with non-blinking cursor, then it hangs. If I try a warm reset, it panics. (Page fault) Is there anyone who had similar problems and/or knows the solution? Any help would *GREATLY* appreciated. -- Stair, alive in their sweet memory =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Minsung Kim <stair@cs.kaist.ac.kr> Undergraduate CS Dept., KAIST
