I have been having problems installing FreeBSD 2.0 on my EISA 486-DX2/80
with a BusLogic 742A SCSI controller. The boot disk thinks it sees
a misconfigured AHA 1542. I disabled the AHA device and it still doesn't
find the bt0 device.

I used to have NetBSD 0.9a on the disk, and it booted fine.

I have the controller configured as port 0x330, IRQ 11, DRQ 5.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Please send e-mail, I can't always keep up with the traffic.

Thanks,
k--
