With TCP/IP? : Answers and/or pointers welcome, thanks : Joe Hmmm I don't think 286 is worth UNIXing or networking but in our University there were a special project two years ago. Some people were working on MINIX and tcp/io networking. It even worked, i did manage to telnet to MINIX host but ... it was just a joke. MINIX has innormal C compiler and linker so you won't compile needed deamons and utils. Try comp.os.coherent or upgrade your system upto i386sx and install real UNIX: FreeBSD for instance. Here in Poland the main borad i386sx 40Mhz with no RAM costs about 40USD.
