This sounds like it should be fine for 386BSD.  You should be aware that with
only 4 Meg of RAM you may be doing quite a bit of swapping with X-windows
running.  This was my experience running ISC unix and X11R4 about a year ago.
It ran unix fine but swapped continuously under X.  I then upgraded to 8 Meg
and have had no problems with either ISC or 386BSD swapping excessively.
