Off the ground, yes.  Working really fast, well.. :-)

8MB of RAM would really be better - even the cheapest X terminals
on the market (which do NOTHING else but run the X server) usually
have 8MB or more - fonts and off-screen pixmaps storage can really
eat it up.

But if 4MB is your constraint, then you should be able to make a servicable
X terminal out of it.

Well, if you're doing lots of graphics (filled arcs and such especially)
then that math-co would definitely be worth it.  On the other hand,
external cache can easily double your performance.  Hard call.  I'd
want both.. :-)
