Can anyone offer me any advice on how to get BSD Unix to print files
without filtering them in any way please? That is, given a file on
my Unix system which already contains data specifically processed to
drive a chosen printer, how do I get the spooling mechanism to send
it the printer without scrambling it en-route? What I have are files
produced by packages which want to drive the printer in a graphics mode,
but then lpr seems to reject them on the grounds they have control
characters in them.

TIA,
John
