I had a NCR scsi controler but this could not detect my harddisk witk either Linux or FreeBSD. Since there are a lot of postings about trouble with NCR cards and Linux, I swapped this with a Future Domain TMC-3260 card, since in the Linux documentation it says that this will work without problems for any configuration. But no way, same problem, what is it ? Under linux I still get the 0 hosts detected. And under BSD I cannot get it to detect the harddisk, although I gets the PCI display controller. INYH.
