I tried bringing up a few multicast applications but failed. I ran
vat and sd and they both complained that they couldn't assign
requested address. This sounds like the kernel I have doesn't support
multicasting. I am running the March 22nd snap. I have included

options MROUTING # Multicast routing

in my kernel config file. But, this appears to be only multicast
forwarding. How do I get multicasting host support?

On a similar note, I (obviously) pulled over vat and some of the
readme files said vat runs under FreeBSD if I use the linux vat
driver. Do I need that? If so, where do I get it? -thanks.
