Here's the system info: DEC pc/XL 590 w/48Mb RAM, plenty of HD space, and AHA 2940 SCSI controller. The DEC has an onboard controller that he has disabled through the BIOS in favor of the Adaptec. When booting off the boot floppy (image from 2.0R CDROM), FreeBSD sees the onboard NCR SCSI rather than the Adaptec and just hangs. Nothing else happens. Any suggestions/tips welcome. Thanks in advance. - - - - John Mastrolia ** The opinions expressed are my own and are not those of Swiss Bank Corp **
