You might want to try to slow down the transfer : rate if your SCSI card can do so. Luckily, it was just a set of bad floppies. I made new ones, and installed FreeBSD successfully. Now all I need to do is get my 4.3 Gb drive and X windows to work. Thanks for everyone's help!
