I need some help getting my 3c503 card to work with 386bsd. bsd finds
it on bootup (lists the ec0 device driver). However, I think that the
kernel is configured to use the BNC port instead of the AUI port. I got
mail from someone telling me to make the minor number of the device
(/dev/ec0 i assume) less then 127, but I don't know the major number. I
have done a bit of pokeing around in the kernel sources, but haven't
found anything (device.i386 doesn't list it).

The card does work from dos (using pc/tcp 2.05), so I know it isn't a
hardware problem.

thanks,
alex
