On our 16M P66 machines they work just fine, but on our 96M P90 system it blows up as soon as it begins to fsck the disks (usually with a divide by zero error in the kernel although occasionally I've seen a 'page not present' fault). Now I had similar problems with the P90 and 2.0R due to a lack of kernel page tables - the problem was solved by boosting "NKPT". However, no such fix works here (indeed a look at the code seems to show that the kernel can magically handle increasing this). So ... any helpful hints on what's up would be greatly appreciated.
