Sad to say, but it seems to be the case. There is an outfit in Northern Virginia that has a customized Linux kernel which they sell as part of their service. Their customizations do the PPP load balancing across multiple modems. If Linux didn't repulse me so much, I might actually have gone with their service... From what I hear, this is on the "to do" list at BSDI, but probably way down the list. Dunno about NetBSD or FreeBSD. -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Vivek Khera, Ph.D. Khera Communications, Inc.
