Sad to say, but it seems to be the case.  There is an outfit in
Northern Virginia that has a customized Linux kernel which they sell
as part of their service.  Their customizations do the PPP load
balancing across multiple modems.  If Linux didn't repulse me so much,
I might actually have gone with their service...

From what I hear, this is on the "to do" list at BSDI, but probably
way down the list.  Dunno about NetBSD or FreeBSD.
