Yes, but only for PReP compliant UP and SMP boxes, which is to
say "boxes for which there is hardware documentation" which is to
say "not PowerMac's".  Apple wants you to run their OS: go figure;
they probably have moral compunctions against memory protection.

There is probably work going on in NetBSD as well, for all I know.
