Yes, the subject is right )-: I've installed 2.0.5 alpha from Tuesday
morning. I've made the whole new partition (I'd like to have just one --
under /). MAKEDEV returned non-zero status -- chown and chgroup were
constantly getting killed, because of "floating exception" (the same
exception was also killing du and some other programs, during my previous
attempts).

Install, however, told me, that installation was succesfull, and I
rebooted (I did remove the boot-floppy first). Both of my harddrives were
probed correctly. Then Install menu came up again. I was surprised by
that and went to check out the partitions again: "No disks found", was a
verdict (install seems to be refusing its own existence (-: )...
Here is a summary again:
chown, chgrp (du and some others too) die from "floating exception"
Install said that installation was succesful
Now Install, which comes up (for uknown reasons) from the disk
	tells me: "No disks found"
My configuration: Western Digital 170Mb drive -- ~112 is devoted for
FreeBSD (including swap), the rest is under DOS. The second drive has an
extended partition, it is, however, probed and correctly recognized as
Conner 330M. Hope this can help enhance the beautifull system, and
someone will help me to start enjoy it again :-) Thank you,
	-mi
