(I boot from system 7.1 with no extensions save Mode32). Anyone have a quick fix for this problem? The hang is just that: the system freezes and accepts no more input from the keyboard - I have to reboot it. Any ideas? Thanks. -- -Sam Sapoznick No quick fix, but a suggestion. Try installing the kernel debugger, learn how to hotkey into it and the next time you freeze see if the hotkey still works. From there you can get a kernel stack trace to see what routine you are in, a "ps" to see what was running, and other clues that you can use to beg for help with. P.S. I can't mail to ssapozni@mercury.sfsu.edu (no such user comes back)
