I'll be happy to take patches, though. The difficulty with that is that it's hard to work on it unless you have a working system--catch-22 unless you have two old machines around (one running BSD, the other your target)... I had my paws on an LCII a year or two ago, but only for a week or two--it looked like it should have worked, but it didn't.
