I have spent some time doing research as of what Unix to get for a
WEB server. I am seriously considering BSDI and I was wondering what
others thought of this.

While I decided what to use for 'sure' I got Linux. I got the server up on the
Internet and configured everything (DNS daemon, FTP, Mail, HTTP).

The reason I am considering BSDI even though I have Linux working is that
after doing some reading it seems that BSDI may be a more mature and
stable system. The fact that there are less people involved in the BSD
kernel than in Linux's means that even though things may be slower they
would probably be more stable when released.

Any opinions?
