Well, much to my dismay I am experiencing the same problem with the same card and 2.0.5R as well. Is there a fix yet? I don't remember seeing anything posted but I Can you post the relevant lines in your kernel config file? PS: It is quite ironic that I upgraded from 2.0R to 2.0.5R in the hopes that the SB16 recording side of things was fixed. Now, I don't even have the ability to play sounds. I must have truly been a bad person in a past life. Oh you were, my friend, you were. The russians are still angry about that Stalingrad incident, in fact, and Eva says you were a lousy lover, too! :-) Fortunately, we don't select for functionality based on past misdeeds, so I think your problem is, in fact, more configuration related. I'm using an SB16 with 2.0.5R without trouble. Perhaps if you gave us more details? Jordan
