It took you an hour or two to set up a fairly minimal configuration (three UUCP feeds, one of which is has two aliases and its own domain) after you were already familiar with sendmail.cf hacking, *and* that was a major improvement over sendmail.cf. Sendmail is just too much to expect people to wrap their brain around. Unfortunately, it's a necessary evil.
