I'm sure Mr Lambert is well aware of the decentralised (some would
say anarchic) Linux development setup and just making the point that
there is no one organisation overseeing it and providing support.
Should anyone really want to find out about Linux, a far better
set of pointers would be

	WWW http://sunsite.unc.edu/mdw/
	FTP ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/
			ftp://tsx-11.mit.edu/pub/linux
(these sites are both mirrored widely)
	Support Still ???

It depends what sort of support you want, though I'd start by looking
at the comp.os.linux.* newsgroups and the mailing lists at
vger.rutgers.edu.

[Followups redirected to comp.os.linux.advocacy, as this isn't
really a bsd thread any more]
