Has your Mitsumi drive been announced during the device probe phase
(as ``mcd0'')?  If not, are you sure your hardware setting for the
drive does match the kernel?  If not, boot with ``-c'', and adjust
the idea the FreeBSD kernel has.

Are you sure it's one of the supported Mitsumi drives at all (e.g.
an FX-001S or FX-001D with a separate controller board), or perhaps
it's something else?
