Before most of you disregard my question as a
general-Unix-question-posted-to-the-wrong-group , let me add that I
_have_ created the target file with world-writable permissions.  I can
do the transfer ok to a Solaris box, so I'm looking for some
BSD/OS-specific reason why this isn't working.
