I installed 2.0.5R off floppy/FTP. The installation itself went fine. sd0 is a SCSI 318MB used to be 2.0R FreeBSD. I set up sd0a 32M / sd0s1b 64M swap sd0s1e 32M /var sd0S1f 190M /usr Everything works except that there is no boot manager on "sd0a". If I boot from the installation floppy and at the "Boot: " prompt type "sd(0,a)/kernel" then I get the correct kernel (newly built, but the problem existed before the new kernel) from the hard drive. I also (as did the other person) tried "disklabel -B sd0" but that did not seem to help. Any ideas? -coranth --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Coranth Gryphon <gryphon@msgi.com> MSG, Inc.
