Has there been a fix for >this or can someone advise me how to hard code it? You can modify the boot blocks for the FreeBSD partition. The source for them is in /sys/i386/boot/biosboot/boot.c (or the like). There You can set the default for the boot prompt to wd, drive 1. As I am writing from memory I can't tell you the source line and the values to change, but I did it sometime ago for the same reason. After building the boot blocks install them with disklabel. cheers, Thomas ------------------------------------------------------------- Thomas Wintergerst | Phone: +49 421 20127-0 Dr. Materna GmbH | Fax : +49 421 20127-90 Am Fallturm 5 | EMail: Thomas.Wintergerst@hb.materna.de D-28359 Bremen | CIS : 100072,1156 -------------------------------------------------------------
