I'm very happy with the performance. I also got a SB16/SCSI CD combo as 2.0R only supported SCSI cds. The video performance is very good with the Diamond DRAM - in fact, it isn't clear how much the acceleration buys me - I don't know, but I certainly am not doing anything fancy. Performance in DOS games (Dark Forces, DOOM) is good, I don't do windows as I have a mac also. I have heard that a DX4/100 is about as fast as a P60, and there is no intel tax. I bought the DX2/80 on the theory that the VLB bus is faster, but compiles seem to be compute bound and that is what seems to be the slowest. A DX4/120 might give you the best of both worlds - these are coming out soon, I've heard.
