The disk in question is an HP 2GB Fast SCSI-2 which is used almost exclusively for my newsfeed. I've seen the same thing with a 2GB Fast SCSI-2 Seagate Barracuda (ST32550N). I've applied kernel patches K200-001 thru K200-013.
