Hmm, 'ya know, i've got another native language than English, so i'm not sure about the English wording. Actually, they're calling themselves `Slovaks'. I don't speak that language, but i do understand a bit of Czech. I've thought `Slovenia' is part of the former Yugoslavia, but then again: they all belong to the group of Slavic languages, despite of their political differences they're all so proud to demonstrate us these days. :-/ Btw., there's an even more interesting difference between another couple of languages. It's `Serbian'. There's a small minority of people living east of Dresden, they're called `sorbisch' (in German), which is rather similar to `serbisch' (German word for `Serbian'). Actually, people only 100 km south (in Czech) do only have a single word for both (`srbsky'), and they have to determine `sorbisch' by attributing it with the geographical area (`Luzicke srbsky'). Basically proves that all these languages are rather related to each other, and people speaking one of them usually don't have big problems in understanding other folks of the same language family. Hmm, guess it's a blessing that this group is ending in .misc. :-) -- cheers, J"org joerg_wunsch@uriah.heep.sax.de -- http://www.sax.de/~joerg/ Never trust an operating system you don't have sources for. ;-)
